About

The Mexican Hat is a member of the daisy family. It has petals ranging from yellow to red. Its distinctive tall center starts off a light green but darkens to brown as it ages.

 

It has been used to make a tea for treating headache and stomach ache and a wash for poison ivy and snake bite.
